Better Together – Big Agnes Inc and NRI

Big Agnes and NRI began working together in 2016 with a goal of helping Big Agnes better serve their Canadian customers. NRI has a long history of helping Non-Resident brands access the Canadian market in the most cost-effective and customer-focused manner. NRI provided initial guidance to Big Agnes on establishing as a Non-Resident Importer in Canada as well as navigating the tax and duty scenarios specific to Canada – ultimately building out a program which allowed Big Agnes’s customers to purchase goods on a landed, duty-paid basis.

In 2012, on the heels of NRI’s expansion into the USA, NRI and Hyperice began a relationship to ensure Hyperice’s revolutionary recovery products would be delivered successfully to their quickly expanding client base. NRI provides a scalable, custom fulfillment service to Hyperice inclusive of numerous value-add services which has allowed Hyperice to progress quickly from an innovative start-up, to today a global leader in recovery technology.

Better Together – La Sportiva and NRI

NRI and La Sportiva began working together in 2014 as La Sportiva looked to strengthen their Canadian business. By placing inventory in Canada within NRI’s network, La Sportiva was able to begin selling on a customer-focused landed, duty paid basis. With their consultative approach to business, NRI has additionally helped the team at La Sportiva navigate unique aspects of the market such as leveraging the Canada-Europe Trade Agreement. The partnership between NRI and La Sportiva is a true testament to one of NRI’s core founding values, “Relationships are worth investing in”.

United By Blue and NRI began a partnership in 2015 in Western Canada – helping United By Blue access the market as a Non-Resident Importer. It was United By Blue’s unwavering focus on the environment and on ethical manufacturing that stood out to NRI as a great alignment with NRI’s value of “Respect For Community & Environment”. In 2019, United By Blue began working with NRI in California to strengthen the supply chain in their domestic market. NRI prides themselves on partnering with amazing clients like United By Blue – taking a consultative approach and bringing creative solutions to complex logistics.

Better Together – Stio® and NRI

“I can still remember signing Stio’s contract with NRI nine years ago as their first client in the new USA facility in LA. NRI began working with Stio in 2012 – proudly fulfilling the very first orders for a new brand that was founded by old friends.
