In 2009, the Cormack brothers approached NRI for logistics help for a new brand they were starting – Herschel Supply Co. Lyndon and Jamie Cormack were already familiar with NRI due to NRI’s fulfillment of brands which they were sales reps for in Canada. They trusted NRI to manage this key element in the success of their new business venture.
NRI manages Herschel’s fulfillment for all channels in both the USA and Canada. They have been with NRI since their launch as a start up with limited sophistication and volume, to now a much more significant and complex company. NRI has had to provide serious scale for them, and adaptation as new markets have emerged.
According to Lan Nguyen, Senior VP of Operations and IT:
NRI has been a great partner for all our different lines of distribution. The service has been consistent from the first items we shipped in the early days, to the millions of units we are doing today. The absolute commitment to making sure that our customers are receiving the best service in the most efficient and effective manner has contributed to our continuing expansion.

Aloha Collection started in 2013 with two founders, Rachael and Heather. Their vision is to “build an international ‘Ohana, one bag at a time” with their mission being “to encourage travel, adventure, healthy and active lifestyles, and to Share the ALOHA”. Best of all, they donate 5% of profits to a Hawai’i-based conservation organization.
Within the two short years of their founding, the accessories company grew
exponentially. While running their business from their homes in Southern
California, the two co-founders ran out of physical space and sought help
from a 3PL provider. With the desire to continue their travels and test their
products, the co-founders needed a trusted partner to fulfill their orders
accurately and continue to service their customers. They began their partnership with NRI in 2017 and have since seen an 800% growth.

Palm Golf began a few years ago by a small group of friends having their weekly tee time at a local Orange County, CA course. With an eye for fun and fashion, they decided that they could improve golf’s style with a focus on the oft-overlooked glove. With the goal of creating a high quality, comfortable, and fashionable glove, Palm Golf was created. However you dress up, they know they can cover your hand in style.
After three years of managing all aspects of the business themselves, the guys at Palm Golf Co. have decided to HAND the logistics over to NRI USA so they can focus on building their brand and continuing to increase their already incredible growth.

At NRI, we view our clients as partners. We seek to partner with brands who seek a high level of touch and expertise, hold people and integrity close to their hearts, and approach business partnerships respectfully with an expectation on quality and success.
Disciplined and Committed Focus on Results
One of our core values is “Disciplined and Committed Focus on Results”. At NRI we work diligently with our partners to understand their needs and execute on our promises.
Our solutions-focused, client-first approach means that we are constantly in touch with our clients and partners in order to build the most effective plans. Being in the middle of the holiday season, we’re seeing the fruits of our labor. Over 6 months ago we began planning for the holiday rush. While this year was even more unpredictable with the added challenges COVID-19 brought us all, we still drove hard to build the best possible plans for operational success. We dove deep with our clients into their forecasted volumes and promotion events (like all those great Black Friday deals you got!) and created plans around space, labor, and transportation needs. We reviewed our staffing plans and hired numerous new, full-time employees to help us through the holiday season, and continue building their careers with us in the new year. Our transportation partners are a huge part of our success and we wanted to ensure they fully appreciated our clients’ volumes. They too are having significant challenges with the COVID related impacts to logistics, so we were certain to engage in even deeper planning than usual with them so they could adjust their schedules and capacity.
With the combination of peak season as well as new challenges 2020 brought, we have still managed warehouse production over 400% of our normal volume. This is not an easy feat given that, at times, 30%+ of the planned necessary workforce was unavailable to work for health and safety reasons – key concerns to us at NRI. We’re working hard to deliver scalable solutions and complex logistics, not only through the holiday, but the rest of the year.
